Into the flow...

Step into the divine that surrounds you.  Surrender to the vortex of light, slip into now...

Gently realize that this is all just a dream.  Once that spark is ignited, conscious control of all that is becomes a most precious tool for manifesting. Wake up to presence, to knowing peace as a perpetually repeating moment, always aware, always empathic...

To connect moments in time like strings of pearls with each making its mark and impression upon the soul...

I am.

Reveling in presence, this now-ness engulfs my being washing the flow of time over my template for the next step in personal evolution one must relinquish the ties to the past and held expectation of the future...

Transformations form from the depth of the darkest moments, creating wholeness from the fractured scintillating pieces of peace swirling in the chaos quietly consuming the void of silence with the cacophony of everything all at once, in a flash you missed it, but here it comes again pulsing in conjunction with the passing of time...

Cyclical and patterned all is. Through a lense of uncertainty all is clear.  Sacred geometry extends from my being as these patterns attach to my consciousness in these waves of connection... Integrating the interconnected feelings to be in that flow state where the stars align and things just take form as you continue your journey towards enlightenment...

Elect Love and Peace!

What is really on the election ballot this year?

Is our soul as a country really under this much constant combat that we are lost in the words as we miss the forest for the trees? How can we combat the incessant pull of idiocracy that is marring the image of our system across the world's theater?

What will it take for us to overcome this frightening image of what is to come for our country?  How many more moments of sheer racism and ignorance will we let manifest in our collective consciousness before we finally stand up and say enough is enough?

So what can you do now?  Who are you to be able to make a difference?

How can your voice be heard?  Does the election really matter?  Do we even have a voice?  The answer is yes, we do, and the election does matter, but our voice can only be heard and we can only make a difference if we stand up and stand together in love and peace.

This entire facade of an election process has created more fear, hatred, anger and shame than any of the past elections up until this point.  Just when we think it can't get any worse, it does and we see even more of how fragile this system is and how it is so mismanaged that those in charge most likely shouldn't be.  Yet we don't stand up together with one voice when they have so carefully marginalized our positions and our voices into sound bytes and scripted memes designed to distract us from the truth just behind the curtains...

Love and peace can save us?

How so?  Are you just some wishy-washy hippy?  Well I am, but that is beside the point...

Love is one of the strongest attractors of the present moment of any of the emotions.  This means that it brings you into the present moment simply by focusing on it.  The heart chakra is the center of the plane of existence we call the present moment where the spiritual plane intermingles and blends with the physical world.  That which we hold in our heart center becomes real that much more quickly...

Peace is just as powerful so long as it is realized as its own process, and not the absence of war which reflects its energy out in a negative way as a polarity, which it need not be.  Peace should be seen as gratitude, or joy for simply being and gratefulness for what is in all its forms.

Stepping into an attitude of gratitude and love isn't the easiest process especially with all of the endless barrage of angry memes and perversions of what we call media and the news.  The easiest start to this process is to think of that which you hold most dear, a loved one, a pet, a happy memory that warms your soul when you think of it.  Calling in such an image evokes that joyful, loving feeling that can help you elevate your intentions and elevate your manifestations towards something more.  It will help you to guide your potential reality towards its highest good even in times such as these.

How can we be grateful for such a debacle of our political system?  Let us find the silver lining hiding in this very dark and large storm cloud hanging over our country at the moment.

What did we hope would happen?  Obviously it didn't play out how we liked, so what is the potential good in these developments?  What positivity can come from such horrid defacement of our governmental structure?  Even in the darkest night we can find stars to illumine our path, for light needs darkness to be fully appreciated...

We can let be what is, and send light and love and positive thoughts and energy to those places in the world that need our attention or help so that it can grow and flourish and facilitate new changes in the future.  We can look forward to what may still come in a loving and peaceful world in hopes that we can be catalysts for real change...

Holding our highest good for the universe and higher powers to protect us and keep us away from the negativity and evil that exists knowing that all is as it should be and that all will work out for the betterment of everyone.  Staying with these thought patterns and sending out feelings of gratitude and love for all that is and that all that is will create the highest good for all involved.

Thoughts are energy and have power!

Do not play into the fear and anger surrounding our nation.

Let us "Face Everything And Rise" up as one people, for the future of our world!

Momentary Illumination

Momentary Illumination

Feel the pulse of the flow as it courses through your veins…

Do you even know your own silence?  Do you appreciate your faults?

Do you want to see how the darkness illuminates the light?

There is no now without here,
just as there is no dark without light,
this pulsation of truth eminates from the night
just as the light of the stars brings out the depths of the infinite vast void of space
as the galaxies swirl into existence around the destruction of the endlessly swirling black holes we fall into
as we expect an outcome from no effort
or a change without a preceding event to push it into being,
but being of what?

How do we become the nothing contained within the everything giving form to the formless, giving structure to the ethereal?

How do we embrace the moment of uncertainty with total awareness without giving all of our vulnerability and trust to that which is fleeting, to that which has no shape?

How can we know that this is it?  Do you?

Now.

This light that bursts forth from the deepest recesses of your soul
brings you back to this ever present moment,
this instant where all things are interconnected,
where the past falls away and the future doesn’t matter,
to the time where you simply are, and that is always enough,

Be in your moment,
it is always fleeting,
yet always there.

Know that you are the infinity in that grain of sand, and that eternity in an hour and
revel in the chance to embrace the gratitude of all that is.

Just be.

After the Fall (final edit)

After the Fall

“Success is a series of glorious defeats.”
-Mahatma Ghandi

Everyone has experienced the sensation of falling, the rush of weightlessness, that powerful pulse of adrenaline when you don’t know what is going to come next. For some people it is a rush of excitement, yet for others it is sheer terror. It’s that sense of xenophobia we all get, the fear of not knowing what is in store for us. Will we be caught? Will we hit the ground? Will we be hurt, or for that matter, survive? What will befall us in our descent? Can we find the courage to trust ourselves or others to cushion our fall or to make it less painful, either physically, spiritually, or emotionally?

In what ways do we fall? As a child, scrapping a knee was traumatic, as was being shot down by the pretty girl I had a crush on. When rollerblading as a child, it took me many years and many falls to master the art of falling physically. I had to experience each nuance of the fall, along with the pain accompanying it, to learn to catch myself so that I would not be as injured in my crash. After a few casts and ER visits down the road and the ability to transfer my weight and glide to the ground instead of slam it, this physical mastery was achieved. But physical falling is definitely not all there is to falling and not the only form of falling I have mastered over the years in the trepidations and trials of my life.

People fall in love, they fall for a gag, they fall asleep at the wheel, both metaphorically and literally. They fall apart, fall from grace, or have a falling out. Some fall in a hole or fall out of sync, while others have everything fall into place. Shedding our skin, the shell falls away from us like a husk, freeing us from our ego and static view of the world. Why do we signify so many things in association with such a difficult experience everyone has felt? What does it mean to really fall?

It means letting go, being in that fear and uncertainty, thriving in it, or writhing in it, sometimes succeeding, sometimes not. It means losing yourself to something, embracing change and flow in the unknown with that sense of freefall. It might mean approaching destiny or defeat, depending on what’s happening and how you look at it. Think of it as a cusp, a climax, a turning point, that last moment before the buzzer, whether beneficial or difficult. Sometimes it is losing your way and having to start all over, or maybe just needing to rekindle that fire deep within your soul. It could be not retaining control of our emotions when interacting with others or losing face in the eyes of those who revere us. Feeling stuck in a situation or trapped or perhaps being duped by someone could push that sensation of losing our balance within our lives. Being unconscious while living our lives would create a perpetual sense of fearing what is to come.

All of us have these moments in our lives. Some more than others, like myself, choose to fall way more than needed in order to learn the right way to do it and then thrive after it has been experienced. This doesn’t have to be everyone’s path though, as much as I have enjoyed taking the long way to get to my goals, I know that there are far more rapid paths to a goal than this trail I have chosen. The great leaders and masters of all fields of study seem to live by this “road less traveled by” mentality though. It is this art of falling, of losing yourself to something greater, trusting your descent and reveling in the sharp crisp feeling of that brief rush of fear, knowing all will work out as it needs to whether we like it or not. Little has been studied or explored in this phenomenon. We simply dismiss it as ill timing or unfortunate circumstances. Many of the greats have used it to their advantage and capitalized on their failings, faltering, and fumbles to create many masterpieces and discoveries. It is by analyzing the misgivings and those mistakes that we are able to pick up and strive forward to realize our true callings.

Maybe some of us can’t see the stars until we are truly are in the gutter to misquote Oscar Wilde. Together we will analyze what this gutter is like and see where the stars will and can take us, because difficult things and traumatic events in our lives serve us as ways to grow and improve, but only if we can recognize and capitalize on that fact. We will work to cultivate that mindset in order to see those silver linings everyone talks about or hopes to find. By embracing the fall, we may follow our bliss. By accepting our flaws, we may find our true strength and purpose. We will work to bring more consciousness or awareness to our lives so that any descent we make for ourselves will merely be that backing up to get a running start.

During these falls we will identify how to gracefully glide to our resting place to begin anew. We will explore the passion and the butterflies of a romance as well as how to keep it fresh and re-ignite the fervor of love as we leap blindly into it. Acknowledging our egos we will learn to let go of their vicious grip on our psyches and their needless control and difficulties they inflict on our lives in the name of self-preservation. We will experience how it can be safe to not always be in control and how to accept that helpless feeling in order to ride the wave of uncertainty that this reality constantly presents us with.

“Reading spiritual books is like reading the menu at a restaurant. Don’t forget, you must eat the meal.”
-Trunga Rinpoche

Are you ready to master the art of falling?

Connect to the divine...

Take a deep breath... close your eyes... Now exhale and let yourself drift slowly into this moment.
Envelope yourself in the presence that we are now in.
Find the nuances of each glance, each step, each breath...
Sit in the stillness you find in between each word or each musical note...
Realize that all is one, the spaces and the cacophony of the collective all talking at once and this peace is a piece of the divine, this knowing, this spiraling effervescence of our divinity is contained in those spaces between these atoms,
the ones you are contained in,
the ones you accept as your reality, as your reason for being, as your presence...
Be present in this instant, know that it is eternal, it will never not be right now.
Embrace the feeling of interconnection as you gaze into the eyes of those around you and experience the depth of your soul.
Revel in the expanding universe as you peer into the depths of the universe with the twinkling stars dancing through your view in the endless night sky above.
Even the most unassuming of times can extend outward revealing the infinite, this perpetual dream we flow in and out of interweaves our destinies.
There is a reason you were in my dreams...
Just be in the stillness,
and know you are divine.
Light for your path...
Just be.

A candle amidst the shadow...

"Hope is a good thing, maybe even the best of things, and no good thing ever dies."

-Stephen King
(The Shawkshank Redemption)

This flicker, this flame of hope, spark of divinity casting away shadows into the light of reason and rebirth to be renewed and revisited once again.

Hope can do this for us just as renewing our faith and spirit can do...

Can we still be with ourselves and with that phoenix who rises from those ashes?  What comes with this rebirth?  Is it always peaceful?  What if it's not?

Sometimes and often as we find that candle in our dark times, that innocent flame of peace and renewal will ignite with the delicate shell of our current state of the ego to prepare us for major growth.  Now not all major change and growth is painful or earth shattering  or a bonfire of the psyche, but this has been known to happen from time to time...

It is as though we have surrounded ourselves in the kindling of our old way of being and thinking and interacting and this kindling catches fire and gets set ablaze into our being, purifying that which is holding us back from our truest and most sacred self.

There is always beauty in these moments of utter clarity, though often it is almost impossible to find it amidst the chaos that ensues in our lives.  Room has to made to handle and acquire the proper energetic reception that is occuring.  We are forging a new skin, a new template of our being and at first it is terrifying.

That feeling of letting go and releasing  is usually accompanied by strife and struggle, for the ego's grasp on our reality is a very real and powerful thing.

This growth and renewal we are experiencing is a trial by fire and the wrong mental attitude and stance will most definitely spiral out to let the ego back in and let it regain its comfortable spot where it is in control of your life.  Therefore this growth is typically accompanied by pains and difficulties.  We must push forward to realize that in this gutter of an experience, there are still stars in the cosmos stretching out into the infinity of space.

It is at times called a healing crisis for the illness or state of dis-ease we are in is one that must flare up and create panic and trauma in order to shake our spiritual and physical state to its core foundations.  This unfortunately can even extinguish that candle which started the process of growth.

Find your candle in the darkness of the char that remains when such a dark night of the soul occurs.

Find the message.  Step back from yourself and your sorrow and pain and just be a silent witness to what is and to what can be.  Find the peace in each moment, the joy of releasing the old and embracing the new.  You may like what you find there.  It may bring back that once lost playful spirit from childhood, or you may discover that dream of this life you put up on the shelf until the next lifetime.  See the opportunity in your darkness, become your own flashlight by looking for the message, for the blessing hidden in the curse.  There is a silver lining in the cloudiest of days...

Keep hope in your despair and let the sun warm you in the ashes so that you may find those phoenix feathers of every color that had been dulled or sullied by the barrage of suffering in this experience.

May you find the brilliance hidden in the darkest of times...

Know that you are a being of light.

A light for your path...

Just be.

Falling in a Hole, chapter from the self-help book, "The Art of Falling" by Brien Egan (another book chapter I need comments on...)

***Chapter from The Art of Falling, by Rev. Brien Egan

Falling in a Hole

“When we feel stuck, going nowhere--even starting to slip backward--we may actually be backing
up to get a running start.”
                                          -Dan Millman

Ever feel like nothing is going right for you, like you are stuck and can’t get out of your rut? This feeling of lost hope can create overwhelming sadness or depression about the situation you are in. When you feel this confused about your direction in life all can seem lost. It is as though you are out of sync with life and you have fallen off your original path. Everything doesn’t always go as planned as we talked about in chapter 2, so let’s look at how we can climb out of our hole and keep on our path we had started. We may feel suppressed in where we are or maybe we aren’t claiming our vision or personal power and are letting others control our destiny.

First let’s look at how to analyze the hole we are stuck in to understand how we got to this point. We need to identify what derailed our train. Take a second to mentally back track to where these feelings originated, who you were with, what was happening. Did you not do something you were supposed to or should have? Did you let someone else dictate your actions? Did you not stand up for what you believe in for your dreams? Try to identify that moment where things began this unraveling. Now walk yourself through what transpired next in sequence. What inaction created your hole? Or was it something you did?

Can your hole be filled with a simple conversation? Or does it require an entire life style change? Finding the courage to step out of the hole may be the issue as well. Some people find comfort in theirs, it becomes like their default position. Sometimes the hardest part to a limiting adversity is the willingness to change it or even identify it honestly. Has it become your “acomodador?” Did you settle to create your distress of being trapped? Can you bring yourself to be strong enough to do something now that you can unlimit your dreams? Maybe you need to share these concerns with a partner or a friend so you can take those key steps and muster up the strength to move on to where you truly wish to be.

Personal power can be what is creating these limits for us if we are afraid to step out of our comfort zone and really reach for those goals and aspirations. Others can help encourage us but ultimately it is up to each person to find strength deep within to make major changes and to alter our path. When hope feels lost it is even harder to pick up and move on.

Perhaps disillusionment with the outcomes is keeping you stuck. You might have too much faith in a broken system or a dream someone else has that may be different from your own. If this is the case it may require a revisit to the shared vision or a revisit to what you really desire. This is not to say we should settle, but a refocus on what is essential may be all that is required to get you back on track. When you get to this point the best point of view is to know your real desire and this may require a significant bit of introspection. Once you rediscover your intentions, you can push forward just as we talked about in chapter four in order to reaffirm your personal truth and your self worth. Soon you will have filled in your hole and be ready to rewrite your plan or to reconfigure the path you are on. Having a renewed vision on your journey will make it easily attainable to ignite your drive with new fervor.

The key here is to realize that we are never stuck in any situation. There is always a way to climb out and keep our march to victory under way. Stepping out of a hole and away from a situation that is against your dreams is a safe thing to do. We need to have trust in what we are doing and that it is moving us in a direction we feel is heading toward our goal. Everyone has moments where they feel like there is no way out of something and we need to find the personal strength to not be tied into something that goes against who we are or against the direction we are heading. This hole you are in may just be a divot in the road or it may seem like a bottomless pit but that lies in your perception of it and your abilities and strengths in doing something to climb out of it.

Autobiography in Five Short Chapters

“I walk down the street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I fall in.
I am lost... I am helpless.
It isn't my fault.
It takes forever to find a way out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I pretend I don't see it.
I fall in again.
I can't believe I am in the same place.
But, it isn't my fault.
It still takes me a long time to get out.

I walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I see it is there.
I still fall in. It's a habit.
My eyes are open.
I know where I am.
It is my fault. I get out immediately.

walk down the same street.
There is a deep hole in the sidewalk.
I walk around it.

I walk down another street.”

 Visualization

Take a deep, full breath in, all the way down to the bottom of your lungs. Notice your breath, now take another deep full breath, feel your lungs stretch out with the quiet path of your breath. Each breath that you take now is releasing more of your tension and tightness, relaxation is flowing in with the in-breath, and tension is released with the out-breath. Picture a shimmering light come in to the top of your head and with each breath it will slowly go down your body relaxing you as it moves into your neck and chest, down your arms, going down further now with the out-breath into your hips and legs going into your calves and out your feet...

Now imagine that you are sitting on the edge of a very deep well. You lose your balance and fall backwards towards the water deep below. See the bricks as you fall farther and farther into the well. Splash! You are drenched. You notice handhold spots throughout the entire wall back up and out of the well. As you grab each one and move up further you notice that each handhold makes you realize a step to correct your slip, and the further you climb, the more confident you feel about your goal at the top of the well walls. As you get to the top you are overcome with joy at having overcome your fall and rekindled your efforts towards you goals and desires. You head off down a road emitting a yellow glow and you feel a renewed sense of direction. Picture yourself now in a violet bubble as you float down the yellow brick road towards your dreams...

When you are ready, be back here in the room, at peace, knowing that you are on your way to wholeness...

Visualize, mesmerize, materialize!!!

'Tis the season!

                 Don't wait!

                             Do this now.

                                           Let's begin...

Now follow along and visualize this to yourself, picture it in your mind, as you read along with me. First take a deep, full breath in, all the way down to your belly and let it out slowly now, and spend a few moments just focusing on your breath as it comes in and out slowly and calmly.  Now picture the sky up above you with the bright sun high up overhead.  Feel the warmth of the sun on your face as you continue to take deep full centering breaths calming and relaxing you now as you bask in the light of the sun.  Just be still in this moment.

Now as you are quiet and still notice as thoughts about your day, worries about deadlines or any of life's difficulties just spill out into your stillness, almost as though you are holding back a levee of thoughts and its slowly seeping out.  Now see in your mind these repetitive thoughts, some negative, some not, these thoughts you have about who you are and what you are, how you feel and what you think of your surroundings.  You know those thoughts that play like a tape recording throughout your day.

Watch now as the thoughts transform in your mind into clouds as they fill up the sky and block the warmth from the sun.  So now picture yourself safely rising up into the sky through those clouds of busy and negatively patterned thoughts.  Seeing them separate from oneself now you know in this moment, you are more than your thoughts...

Realize that as you are coming out of the cloud cover up back into the brilliance and warmth of the sun that you are moving beyond these limiting thoughts back to the you that is eternal.  You are transcending to the witness, that infinite part of you that is not attached to any emotions or preconceived notions of what the world is like.  It is being in that childlike innocence.  This is where you are now.  See the clouds below you now as they drift past and feel the powerful connection from the warmth of the sun revitalizing your true self.  Feel the textures of the clouds, realizing again that you are more than these senses.  You are the still small scribe to this infinite sea of experiences.  Know that you are beyond your emotions.  You are connected to your source, aware, alert.  Now slowly bring yourself back into this space, the room you are in, feeling comfortable and relaxed in your body, knowing in a deep place that you are better for this, and it is so...

Are you presently present now?

If not, take a second to remember who you are, where you are and why you are...

Do you have goals?

What is it you truly want?

What is keeping you from being there now?

Will you save yourself in time?

There is only one lifetime we are currently aware of  so we must capitalize on our experience of the present in order to harness the full potentiality in every instant of our perception...

Presence can be experienced in a great number of ways from some deep breaths to simply being in your body.

Create a mantra consisting of a few things you are working to create for oneself...

Here's how you do it:

Simplify whatever your goal is into a few words and just keep the saying or phrase that you can run in the background noise of your mind, repeating on autopilot while you are mentally focused on the outside world, being aware of one's own body as such is a difficult undertaking...

Create now in this new year whatever it is you can envision with all of your senses.  See yourself presently in perfect awareness of your consciousness, being in the flow.

Happy 2016!!!!
